Esheshiasera Obaitan

Esheshiasera Obaitan is a healthcare professional with expertise in public health as well as healthcare cyber security. In her role as Research Assistant at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, she works as a Research and Data Collection personnel responsible for the research, data collection, data entry and analysis of a COVID Case Control Study. With her team of fellow researchers, they developed study protocols, research designs, questionnaires and  data analysis tools to help public health officials compare the exposures of people with COVID-19 to people without COVID-19.

Esheshiasera’s main interests are global health, e-health solutions and health cybersecurity with an emphasis on securing patients data in order to minimize the risks and associated public health issues.

Esheshiasera is currently working on her M.B.A. in Health Administration (International Health Management and Policy) and a M.S.C. in Cybersecurity at the University of Colorado, Denver. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Leeds, England and a BSc in Public Health from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State Nigerian.

Esheshiasera worked on the No Wrong Door Project, which is a coordinated, comprehensive system for all long-term services and supports, regardless of age, disability or pay source. On this project, Esheshiasera monitored surveys for Qualtrics and compliance through data collection and interviews with a four-person team. She compared funding streams supporting No Wrong Door (NWD) systems in the United States to identify state agency oversights. She also, conducted academic research and prepared manuscripts for No Wrong Door (NWD) implementation grant

Esheshiasera has written seven papers currently published on medium.com and following due processes to be published in notable journals. Esheshiasera is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), American Public Health Association (APHA) and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
