Working closely with faculty and administrators, she assisted in the streamlining of faculty entrepreneurship opportunities on campus while ensuring research, entrepreneurial development, and global engagement operations were in compliance with university and government policies and regulations.
She served on a number of committees, including Global Healthcare, Education, Leadership and Research in Pharmacy (HELPRx), the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Entrepreneurship Student Ambassadors, and the UNC Commercialization Task Force. Lauren greatly valued her time in the Office of Organizational Diversity and Inclusion where she worked to tell the stories of students with unique backgrounds, emphasizing that the diversity of the healthcare workforce starts with broad inclusion in education. Prior to this, Lauren worked as a lead paralegal, Office Manager and Executive Administrator at leading law firms in Queensland, Australia, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, Illinois.
