Lauren McQuillan Frank

Chief Operating Officer

Lauren Frank plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing operations across the Med Aditus enterprise, including managing day-to-day operations, implementing strategic plans, and fostering a culture that is unique.

Lauren’s passion for global health equity was ignited while working at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Between the Office of Entrepreneurial Development and Global Engagement and the Office of Research, she gleaned a unique perspective on how pharmaceutical research and education intersects with patient care. Lauren coordinated efforts of a variety of School and University resources to maximize the impact and outcomes of the School’s research enterprise and oversaw projects relating to the strategic initiatives thereof. Working closely with faculty and administrators, she assisted in the streamlining of faculty entrepreneurship opportunities on campus while ensuring research, entrepreneurial development, and global engagement operations complied with university and government policies and regulations.

She served on several committees, including Global Healthcare, Education, Leadership and Research in Pharmacy (HELPRx), the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Entrepreneurship Student Ambassadors, and the UNC Commercialization Task Force. Lauren appreciated her time in the Office of Organizational Diversity and Inclusion where she worked to tell the stories of students with unique backgrounds, emphasizing that the diversity of the healthcare workforce starts with broad inclusion in education. Prior to this, Lauren worked in corporate law in Queensland, Australia, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, Illinois. Lauren has B.A. in Environmental Studies (multi-disciplinary) from Vassar College, New York, and is currently enrolled in the Advanced Certificate for Executives at MIT Sloan School of Management, which she expects to complete in early 2025.
